'Be the Star' make your child the star of the show. Your child's face will feature throughout the cartoon and they will have their name included in the title of the story. Our DVDs are cartoon animations which combine illustrated settings with photographic images.
Your child's head will be placed on a fully animated cartoon body and feature within the unique story. Each cartoon is approximately 15 minutes in length they are DVD PAL format (UK format). On request we can produce DVD NTSC format (USA format).
How does it work?
All we require is a photographic image of the child's face. We then digitally place this image into the cartoon.
What type of photograph is needed?
We ask for a full-face, front view photograph. It must be well focused with the child's face unobstructed. The child must not be wearing a hat. The photograph should be in colour.
How many children per cartoon?
The cartoons are designed for one child only. If cartoons are required for more than one child, you must order more than one DVD.
Are the cartoons suitable for boys/girls/different ethnic backgrounds?
Yes to all. The cartoons are designed for both boys and girls, the main character wears clothing suitable for either gender. The main character also has all their skin covered by clothing and is therefore suitable for all races.
What happens to the photograph of the child once the DVD is complete?
Once the production process is complete we will erase the digital image from our system. If you have posted a photograph to us rather use the upload facility on our website we will return the photograph unharmed to you along with the completed DVD.
Are the cartoons restricted to children only?
No. Although the cartoons have been designed with children in mind there is no reason why they cannot be enjoyed by all age groups. For adults they make very entertaining gifts.
Are the cartoons really of a professional standard?
Yes they are! They have been produced, animated, edited and composed by professionals working in the UK's television and music industry.
Unlike competitors products, your child really will be fully integrated into the cartoon; jumping about the screen, moving to and from the distance, interacting with other characters and starring in their very own adventure.
